It was a circus

July 09, 2013

This kid.
birthdayboyWe are blessed with two little boys that bring us so much joy (along with some wild and crazy times).
This one is our silly, always ready for a good time, bouncing off the walls every moment he’s awake boy.
And now he’s three.

So, this weekend we had a vintage circus themed party to celebrate and here are some of the details:

details2We found the vintage circus animal drinking glasses at a local antique store (and how perfect-they actually go with a growing set we’ve been collecting)

detailsThe circus clown cupcake toppers, the letter cards and the clown playing cards were all from this adorable Etsy shop.

mantleI used the cards to make this quick little banner

bag_tossChad painted a clown on some extra bead board we had and made this bean bag toss game.
(Hmmm….maybe standing that close is the trick!)

print1He also illustrated these awesome circus animals I used to make this personalized party print.
(Keep an eye on the shop…I plan on making some sort of circus nursery print based off this)

cousinsbwWe attempted a photo with the “little cousins”
(We are missing a couple)

partyhatI think he had a good day.
