My Little Strong Man

Our oldest had a circus party at preschool yesterday.
He was the strong man and it cracked me up how his persona changed once he was in his costume.
He had this very serious face in all the pictures I snapped.
(Must be what happens once you add a mustache)

 

His costume was really simple – I found a striped tee on clearance at Old Navy and cut it into a tank.
The barbell was two large styrofoam balls (hooray for JoAnn’s coupons) and an old broomstick cut down and inserted and glued into each. I had a stick on mustache that only made it in two photos because it kept tickling him & falling off so I quickly busted out some paint before we drove off to school.

My strong man had such a blast!
